Meet Our Team

Jeff Collins, DDS

 Jeff CollinsDDS

Dr. Jeff Collins earned his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.  He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. 

While at Howard, he received the Crown and Bridge as well as Restorative Dentistry Award given to the senior dental student who excelled in those areas.

Dr. Collins is a Board Certified General Dentist who has served as President of the Southeastern Dental Society and is a past member of the Board of Public Health. He is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club and Academy of General Dentistry along with many other civic boards. He has been serving the citizens of Robeson County with exceptional dental care for past 33 years.

He is married to Sybil Lowery Collins, and they have three children, Dr. Jessica Sampson, Dr. Tyler Collins, and Dr. Ben Collins, who are all graduates of the University of Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.     

Ronnie Lowery, DDS

Dr. Lowery attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992. That same year he began practicing at Collins and Lowery.

He is a Board Certified General Dentist and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Lowery has special interest in implants, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and Invisalign®.

Dr. Lowery is married and has three beautiful children. In his free time, he stays healthy and active by playing volleyball and lifting weights. Dr. Lowery also enjoys keeping busy with do-it-yourself projects at home.

Jessica Sampson, DDS

Dr. Sampson attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree with a Biomedical Emphasis. In 2006, Dr. Sampson received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Sampson is a Board Certified General Dentist who has been in practice since 2006. She spends many hours each year completing continuing education courses that keep her up-to-date with the newest dental techniques and products. Dr. Sampson is also pleased to be a Certified Invisalign Provider and active member of the American Dental Association.

In 2003, she married Jordan Sampson, and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children, Collin, Colton, and Johanna. Dr. Sampson is the eldest child of Dr. Jeff and Mrs. Sybil Collins. When she’s not busy helping patients, she enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her husband and children.

Benjamin Collins, DDS

Dr. Benjamin Collins received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, with Biomedical Emphasis, from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Dr. Collins went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.

As a Board Certified General Dentist, Dr. Collins enjoys all areas of dentistry. He stays current with the latest advances in dental treatments and has completed additional training in the areas of endodontics, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Collins is also a Certified Invisalign Provider.

He especially enjoys helping patients achieve optimal oral health with endodontic treatment, placement of dental implants, extractions, dental crowns, and porcelain veneers. He is also an active member of the North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Benjamin Collins is an associate dentist at Collins and Lowery Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, where the emphasis is on “family.” He is in practice with his father, Dr. Jeff Collins; his uncle, Dr. Ronnie Lowery; Dr. Tyler Collins, his brother; and his sister, Dr. Jessica Collins-Sampson.

In his free time, Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his wife, Whitney, their daughter, Berkley, and, of course, their dog, Rambo. Dr. Collins’ hobbies include golfing, hunting, and fishing.

Tyler Collins, DDS

Dr. Tyler Collins was born and raised in Robeson County, and after graduating from Purnell Swett High School, he attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In his junior year of college, Dr. Collins was accepted to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008.

After graduation, Dr. Collins returned to Pembroke to rejoin his family at Collins and Lowery Family Dentistry and has been providing excellent dental care ever since. Dr. Collins has completed many hours of continuing education, learning cutting-edge techniques to improve the quality of dental care he provides to all of his patients.

As a Board Certified General Dentist, Dr. Collins is proud to be a Certified Invisalign Provider and active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Collins and his wife, Katherine, a native of Edenton, NC, married in April of 2011 in the Outer Banks. In July of 2012, they were blessed with an amazing daughter, Heidi Elizabeth. Dr. Collins and his wife also have three dogs – Tyson, their loving golden doodle, and Marley and Charly, their loving Malteses.

In his time away from the practice, Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling, bass fishing, and anything related to UNC Tarheel athletics.
