Tyler Collins, DDS
Dr. Tyler Collins was born and raised in Robeson County, and after graduating from Purnell Swett High School, he attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In his junior year of college, Dr. Collins was accepted to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008.
After graduation, Dr. Collins returned to Pembroke to rejoin his family at Collins and Sampson Family Dentistry and has been providing excellent dental care ever since. Dr. Collins has completed many hours of continuing education, learning cutting-edge techniques to improve the quality of dental care he provides to all of his patients.
As a Board Certified General Dentist, Dr. Collins is proud to be a Certified Invisalign Provider and active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Collins and his wife, Katherine, a native of Edenton, NC, married in April of 2011 in the Outer Banks. In July of 2012, they were blessed with an amazing daughter, Heidi Elizabeth. Dr. Collins and his wife also have three dogs – Tyson, their loving golden doodle, and Marley and Charly, their loving Malteses.
In his time away from the practice, Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling, bass fishing, and anything related to UNC Tarheel athletics.

I really enjoy interacting with our patients while improving their smiles and restoring the health of their teeth. With each new day comes a new challenge, requiring me to continue to learn more about myself and others.”
